During the 130th celebration of Quezon Day, Reymond received the “Governor’s Award” from Gov. Raffy Nantes for giving honor and pride to the Province of Quezon. The award was in recognition of his accomplishments in the field of music when he became a Philippine Idol finalist in 2006 and 2007 WCOPA Grand Champion Senior Vocalist of the World. The other awardee during the said event was Catherine Loria, a native of Tiaong, Quezon, for bagging the title 2008 WCOPA Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World.
